Responsibilities

The CNA Sponsorship Program in partnership with Southeast Community College will offer paid time to attend class and cover the cost of tuition, with opportunity to be hired into a Nursing Assistant position upon completion of the program.   

 

The Program is a benefit of approximately $1,603 for each new TEAMember in the program.

Process for Student

  • Selection process will include an assessment screening, phone interview and second interview with clinical educator or manager
  • Upon selection, the student will complete program contingency pieces (background checks and COVID testing), sign the Educational Loan Agreement paperwork and enroll in Nursing Assistant course
  • Student will complete a 4 hour job shadow experience at Tabitha, complete CNA course and meet state requirements to be listed on the Nurse Aide Registry
  • Apply and be hired for a Part Time or Full Time position at Tabitha

Program details

Loan package of $1,603 includes the following:

  • $444 paid to Southeast Community College for tuition
  • $115 paid to student to cover costs for books and supplies
  • $1,044 stipend paid in 2 increments: 50% at the beginning of the course and 50% at the completion of the course

Loan forgiveness will begin upon employment and will be fully forgiven at 6 months for a full time position, and 9 months for a part time position.
