Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for overall maintenance and development of referral sources to achieve established business results ultimately assisting with the growth of services for Tabitha Health Care. This position develops and ensures positive, productive relationships between Tabitha staff and referral sources by implementing a marketing plan in sync with Tabitha’s mission and strategic business plan. In order to accomplish the essential job functions this position travels on a daily basis throughout the assigned region and communities making contacts with potential referral sources.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Build and maintain referrals that result in increased market share and profitability, by meeting with hospitals, physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and senior centers, and by hosting events at a variety of locations.
  2. Act as a primary liaison between referral sources, business allies, clients and Tabitha facilitating positive productive relationships.
  3. Continuously evaluate satisfaction of these sources with Tabitha services and processes.
  4. Provides education to the community, Senior, Civic, church and health care providers and increases awareness of Tabitha Health Care.
  5. Implements marketing strategies by representing Tabitha at a variety of events and distributing marketing publications to advance the public image of Tabitha Health Care.
  6. Represents Tabitha at community partnership events, meetings, and fundraising activities.
  7. Educates and mentors staff on Customer Service principles.
  8. Ensures attainment of revenue targets by working collaboratively with Tabitha’s clinical leaders and Tabitha’s Continuum Navigation team.
  9. Assist the VP of Operations and Department Directors with development of strategy and measurement of aggressive goals and targets. (25%)

    3. consistently seeking to expand the scope of business with key accounts
    4. selection and coaching of team members
    5. addresses client satisfaction concerns

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced skills in oral, written, and interpersonal communication while addressing a diverse audience.
  • Skill at identifying barriers to referrals and identifying solutions to handle them. 
  • Ability to perform a variety of administrative functions, including:  checking work, evaluating, planning, record-keeping, reporting, training, and forecasting.
  • Ability to serve as a leader for staff members.
  • Ability to utilize a computer for word processing and spreadsheet analysis.
  • Ability to work off-peak hours, including:  weekends and evenings.
  • Ability to operate presentation related technologies (projectors, laptops, etc.).
  • Ability to adapt and L.I.V.E in a rapidly changing environment.

LICENSURE CERTIFICATION

A valid Nebraska Driver’s License is required. 

 

EDUCATION/TRAINING AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Licensed RN or SW preferred.  Clinical background or Bachelors degree in health care/business administration or related field is desirable.  Experience in marketing is helpful but not required.

Minimum of one year of experience with sales/marketing, public speaking, is strongly desired.  Experience with MS Office software is strongly preferred.
