The Grants and Donor Relations Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of external and internal grant funding to secure significant grant revenue in alignment with organizational priorities. This includes the strategic identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of granting agencies, program officers, and trustees. The Grants and Donor Relations Manager develops and implements strategies to engage, recognize, and retain individual and institutional donors, ensuring personalized and mission-driven donor experience. Through thoughtful communication and impact reporting, this position fosters long-term relationships that enhance philanthropic support and advance the organization’s goals.

COMMUNICATION: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language as well as terminology and jargon specific to the job.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job. Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction). Must be capable of sitting for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) throughout the work day and have the ability of kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years’ experience in fundraising, donor relations, grant writing, communications, and project management preferred. Experience in senior living and long-term care preferred. Demonstrated ability to research and secure grant funding through the development of compelling proposals, strategic alignment with funder priorities, and effective collaboration with internal stakeholders. Skilled in managing the full grant lifecycle, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.
