Overview

TABITHA’S PURPOSE:  We empower people to live joyfully, age gratefully.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintain Helpdesk system and be primary point of contact for helpdesk tickets, and phone requests.
  2. Travel to sites and perform on-site maintenance.
  3. Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop, notebook computers, and telephones, printers, mobile devices.
  4. Install and configure software in accordance with department policies and procedures.
  5. Maintain software and hardware inventory.
  6. Help maintain network security across organization.
  7. Complete and maintain project work as assigned.
  8. Provide updates to internal customers on solutions and manage expectations and timing of resolution as needed. Work closely with employees at all levels of the organization when responding to issues.
  9. Coordinate with outside vendors as needed.
  10. Prepares and maintains appropriate written documentation for systems, infrastructure, maintenance logs and procedures.
  11. Be a part of a rotating on-call schedule to be available for after hours or emergency assistance based on need.

Qualifications

COMMUNICATION: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language as well as terminology and jargon specific to the job. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to gain access to the work area and safely perform the duties of the job. Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction). Must be able to frequently carry, push, pull, or lift boxes and supplies up to 50 pounds.

AGE REQUIREMENT: At least age 18.

EDUCATION: Associate Degree or formal education in systems administration (technology) preferred or work equivalent. 

EXPERIENCE: Windows Active Directory experience preferred. Experience managing and maintaining workstations running Microsoft Office, Windows virtual server environment, including virtual desktop environment and SharePoint preferred.
