The Director of Annual Giving and Communications will be the Foundation’s driving force behind executing and managing a modern and effective annual giving and engagement program. This includes overseeing annual giving, leadership giving, grateful patient and family programming, employee giving, donor engagement, and communications. The primary goal is to expand the Foundation’s donor base and establish it as the preferred choice for philanthropy.

COMMUNICATION: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language as well as terminology and jargon specific to the job.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job. Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction). Must be capable of sitting for long periods of time (up to 8 hours) throughout the work day and have the ability of kneeling, crouching, twisting, bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting up to 10 pounds.
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years’ experience in fundraising, annual giving, donor engagement, communications, and project management preferred. Experience in senior living and long-term care preferred. Demonstrated ability to create a program vision and strategic plan that incorporates a comprehensive and diverse range of giving programs; independently initiate and execute program goals and measure results; lead, supervise, and motivate staff and volunteers.
