The Tabitha Nurse Aide Refresher Sessions will prepare lapsed/inactive/expired Nurse Aides (NA) for written and skills recertification exams needed to reactivate their registry status in the state of Nebraska. This in-person course provides individuals with a review of the knowledge, skills and abilities that must be demonstrated in order to re-certify as a NA. This course features access to on-demand content needed to pass the written examination and skills competency portion of the examination. There is a practice skills exam at the end of the sessions.

CANDIDATES: Lapsed/Inactive/Expired Nurse Aides: Anyone previously registered on the Nebraska Nurse Aide Registry is eligible to register for these state exams to reactivate their status.

Loan forgiveness will begin upon employment as a CNA and will be fully forgiven at 90 days.
Rescheduling the refresher course is allowed 1 time. Registration fee is non-refundable. Refunds are not provided if a tester cancels, is late for check in, does not show, is not eligible to test (does not have proper ID), or fails the exam.
AGE REQUIREMENT: At least age 16 for Tabitha Assisted Living Communities. At least age 18 for all other Tabitha Living Communities.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
